 Director of Operations, Child Abuse Prevention Association, June 1998 to August 2004:

Direct clinical program and development activities. Responsible for oversight of staff of 20, clinical supervision, staff supervision, intern and staff training. Doubled agency income through   Foundation grant writing, contract writing and monitoring, program development, community outreach, program administration, track and monitor delivery of counseling, education and case management services for children and families. Respond to media requests for information, including television and radio interviews. Provided Board of Directors status reports. Evaluate program outcomes. Established and maintained HIPPA Compliance. Community leadership to develop initiatives in response to child abuse. Outpatient Coordinator, Comprehensive Mental Health March 1997 to October 1997:

Directed Outpatient therapy unit of community mental health center. Member of Executive Staff Committee over seeing entire agency operations. Hired and trained clinical staff. Employee Assistance Counselor, HMSA, January 1994 to November 1996:

Provided contract EAP service to the United States Postal Service for over 12,000 employees. Assessment of employee's and organizational problems.  Provided assistance to employees and management consultation for a wide range of problems including performance, attendance, ADA, compliance with DOT substance abuse regulations, FMLA and harassment issues. Conducted evaluations of personnel problems between management and staff, then provided recommendations for organizational interventions. Developed and presented training programs on wide range of topics such as "Preventing Stress", "Violence in the Work Place Prevention" and "Recognizing Troubled Employees".

Youth Counselor, City of Blue Springs, Missouri, July 1980 to January 1994

Designed, developed new program to provide individual and family counseling to "at risk" youths using solution focused brief therapy. Interviewed and assessed individuals. Program development, designed and developed educational presentations on a wide range of topics.  Grant writing, budgeting funds for new programs. Psychological evaluation of individuals.

          Chair of Education and Community Awareness Committee, Coalition for Child Safety, http://www.coalition4childsafety.org,  August 2002 to Present  Direct efforts of community professionals and volunteers formed at the request of the Independence, MO City Council following the deaths of three toddlers from child abuse. Activities have included events to increase community awareness about the need to reach out to educate the community about ways to prevent child abuse, improvement in communication between agencies involved in addressing child abuse and public.
